Each basket is a one-of-a-kind work of art, handwoven by skilled artisans in Tsavo, Kenya, using homegrown sisal fibers and traditional techniques passed down through generations of Taita women. With their unique patterns and colors, these baskets showcase the story of the woman who created it, taking hours to dye, dry, and twine the sisal fibers before weaving them together. The finishing touches are added by our local artisan Ezra, who uses tanned goats leather.
